Fine Art Décor For Any Budget

Fine Art Décor For Any Budget

One of the most popular ways to decorate your home is the use of fine art. Whether you’re a high-end collector with plenty of money to burn, or you’re on a budget, this is an elegant way to add beauty and class to your home. It is possible to use any kind of art and any art form for this kind of interior design, called “fine art décor” in the industry. (Even businesses and public buildings are using it, since it portrays a more formal atmosphere that many companies want.) You can use tapestry wall hangings and throws, metal wall art, canvas art, high-quality reproductions of famous artworks, framed art prints, decorative throw pillows, reproduction of French and neo-classic furniture, and wrought iron décor. The possibilities are endless. Fine art décor is also being used in every room of the house, even in the kitchen and bathroom. Your kids’ rooms are a possibility as well. You can even go out of the house, to the garden or backyard. Your neighbors will be the ones “keeping up with the Joneses,” not you. If you’re on a budget and want to collect the best art to place in your home or to give away as elegant and well-thought-out gifts, you may want to consider framed art prints. Can’t afford a Monet? Purchase a print of any of his “Water Lilies” for a fraction of the cost, without hiring an art smuggler to enjoy it in the privacy of your own home. One of the most popular wall décor decorating trends in the past several years is “art on canvas.” The original painting is reproduced on canvas, the traditional choice of artists throughout history. It creates the visual depth and the textured feel of an original oil painting, and rivals paintings sold at high-end galleries. It is created by hand by skilled technicians and lasts for generations. In some cases, you can’t even tell the difference between an art on canvas reproduction and the original. Most companies that offer art on canvas give the customer either unframed and stretched on canvas stretchers, to give the work a “studio” look, or framed in any decorator frame to match your home or office. Some of the most advanced technologies are now being used in fine art décor. The best printing method ever created, “giclée,” is what most use to print paintings, and more than just oil, acrylic, or watercolor paintings. These days, giclée is used to print paintings on virtually any material, whether that is silk, cotton, wood, metal, ceramic, or glass. Giclée (originally a French word, pronounced “zhee-clay”) is essentially a process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. Originally, it referred to printing done on a specific machine, but it now refers to any high-quality ink-jet prints and is used in most art galleries and museums. Whether it’s inexpensive posters or high-end reproductions, there’s nothing stopping you from owning and displaying beautiful, high-quality fine art in your home. The only thing that can limit you is your pocketbook.
